Corporate Social Responsibility and Commitment of Crea-Si

The present Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy defined by Crea-Si is derived from its guiding principles that have always steered its daily activities:

Valuing People: Crea-Si recognizes the paramount importance of respecting individuals and human rights in its corporate approach. The appreciation of work is inexorably linked to the appreciation of people.

Every employee at Crea-Si represents a unique resource, deserving attention, training, and professional growth with a focus on their uniqueness.

The foundation of our relationship with employees is the unequivocal adherence to all internationally recognized human rights, compliance with applicable local laws, and a commitment to listening to their needs.

Employee loyalty and mutual accountability are rewarding factors contributing to the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives.

Flexibility and a Willingness to Change: These elements, combined with rapid responsiveness to customer needs, are crucial factors for Crea-Si and the fashion industry as a whole. They aim to achieve sustainable business growth while minimizing impacts along the entire supply chain: Suppliers – Customers – Employees – Society.

Synergy and Listening: Our commitment to communicate with all stakeholders, both external and internal (the people of Crea-Si), through synergistic collaboration, can yield significant results on all fronts. Embracing responsible behaviors regarding social, environmental, and governance issues makes everyone more aware of the new challenges we face.

Listening is of fundamental importance in building and achieving customer satisfaction (whether internal or external).

Stakeholder Engagement: Initiating new dialogues and engagement mechanisms with stakeholders, both internal and external (especially suppliers), is essential for identifying a shared sustainability strategy that aligns with common development expectations.

Sustainability

In line with its values, Crea-Si has established the management of all its business processes in accordance with the assets of a sustainability management system:

  • Promoting and respecting universally recognized human rights within its spheres of influence.
  • Ensuring it is not complicit, even indirectly, in human rights abuses.
  • Supporting workers’ freedom of association and recognizing the right to collective bargaining.
  • Eliminating all forms of forced, compulsory, and child labor.
  • Eradicating all forms of discrimination in employment and occupation.
  • Ensuring compliance with international standards and Italian legislation regarding working hours, overtime, rest, and remuneration.
  • Advocating a preventive approach to environmental challenges.
  • Undertaking initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility, especially in terms of fabric waste recycling, as Crea-Si is a low-energy-consuming company.
  • Encouraging the use of increasingly environmentally friendly equipment and technologies.

These shared and pursued principles are tools for process improvement, enhancing well-being and efficiency within Crea-Si, with the goal of achieving greater customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

It is therefore necessary for everyone to:

  • Commit to the pursuit of product and service effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Pay attention to the quality of their work.
  • Comply with and respect all aspects of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Promote environmental awareness, respect for the environment, and the use of eco-sustainable practices defined by the company to reduce its impacts (already minimal) by involving all staff to make them responsible and active in environmental decision-making.
  • Minimize energy waste and maximize recycling of waste produced.

Lastly, Crea-Si promotes open dialogue between management and workers to identify needs and innovative improvements, relying on the “reporting” tool to address and respond to issues/suggestions raised by workers and other stakeholders concerning possible non-compliance with this corporate policy and the principles outlined herein.

This policy extends and is disseminated throughout the entire Crea-Si supply chain. Crea-Si intends to monitor its suppliers to ensure compliance with the requirements outlined here and to promote sustainability awareness and interest as widely as possible.
